Memorial Star Dinner Club!

Working side by side to assist a critically ill or injured patient can be, well, intense may be an understatement.

The staff of Memorial Star would like to provide an informal opportunity to get together, chat, and relate outside the work environment.

On January 24th we will be meeting at Rock Bottom Brewery at 3316 Cinema Point (Powers & North Carefree) at 6:30 p.m. It's dutch so bring your checkbook! If you have someone special who can relate to the 'quirky' personalities of EMS providers bring them along and enjoy an evening of good food, good drinks, and good company.

Rocky Mountain Stroke Summit 2011:

February 25th in Denver, CO and presented by Colorado Neurological Institute and sponsored by HealthONE.

This program is FREE with focus on emergency and acute care of stroke patients. Target audience of acute care providers including doctors, nurses, EMS, PA's, and NP's.

• Implementing prevention strategies for cardioembolic stroke.
• Current recommendations for non-atrial fibrillation cardioembolic strokes.
