Med-Trans Corporation provides 4 experienced rotorwing pilots and one full-time mechanic to support the helicopter transport system.

ABOUT the RW Pilots:

Med-Trans Corp. pilots must have no less than 2000 hours of flight time before being considered suitable as EMS pilots. They are proficient in mountain flying and have extensive hours operating under night vision goggles. The average Memorial Star pilot has >3000 hours of flight time and has been involved in aviation for 20 years or longer.

ABOUT the RW Mechanics:

Med-Trans Corp. mechanics must have a minimum of 3 years maintenance experience on turbine powered helicopters with FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses and extensive knowledge of FARs.

Memorial Star's full-time and part-time mechanics have an average of 20 years or more of aircraft experience and specialize in the care and maintenance of Bell aircraft; specifically the Bell 407.
